I don't believe its limited to T-Mobile/Verizon. I got the same page yesterday, several times.

My service is Comcast. I'm in sunny California.
you ready to put that truck under the knife?

Thanks, guys, for the replies.

I see several of us from different systems and ISP are seeing the same thing, - which can be explained by a switch configuration error, - and showed up in previously working systems, misdirecting urls, then recovered on its own...this smacks of a switch misconfiguration that was recognized and fixed. My guess is our beloved Oil burners was one of many sites that got glitched. Whatever it was, I don't think it was on this site, as we couldn't even load this site.

I get the idea this little snafu was several levels above us and not deliberate. I have no confirmation - just a gut feel.

Yes, I did sense a possibility of malware, and had it not been for you guys chiming in to let me know I wasn't the only one, I would still be poring over internet packet sniffer logs chasing ghosts.

@ttman4

I find the apps risky, as they will demand access to things the native phone security will deny access to.

Things like the filesystem, phone, internet, camera, mic, fine location, etc.

Certain businesses are building up huge information dossiers on us and indexing it in AI farms ..

Palantir ( governments ).
Zeta Global ( marketing ).

"As of 2021, the company has a database of permission-based profiles with approximately 2.4 billion identities.[38]" - wikipedia on Zeta Global.

Did you click the "I agree" button anywhere? They probably have a copy. Do you know why they are pushing all those "free" games?

They are getting permission from whatever you agreed to and getting it!

Legally! You Agreed!

I’m not sure on your security warning, I didn’t receive that myself.

But the redirect looks like the oilburners.net domain registration expired. Once it was renewed it seemed like it took a bit for everything to start working 100% again. I couldn’t get in Monday at all, yesterday was so slow I just gave up. Today is the first day everything seems to be back to normal.

Did everybody get this? ( Or was there site activity during this expiry? )

I am a little puzzled why only some of us seem affected....maybe they didn't try to visit?

I am still getting hiccups at my end.

See attached screenshots.

The spambots are hitting this place pretty hard.
But the net is pretty f u b a r lately anyways...
That's the first time I saw one post in threads as a user, usually as a spam 1 post wonder.
