Why not do that custom rebuildable pump like someone was so proud of posting on here thar caused an absolute uproar from the stock running community?
I'm waiting for an update myself. I haven't seen test results or any pricing.

I believe that he exiled himself.
I’d have preferred that he had chose to be a little bit nicer and stuck around, y’know? You don’t have to agree with the majority, but at least be nice to the new people asking questions, instead of telling them why they need to rethink their entire way of working in their truck, and being marginally unpleasant about it. He was at least somewhat knowledgeable, seemed like he had some experiences that would have been interesting to hear about, would’ve been real interesting if he used the same fireplace-level words and tone on here like the rest of us.

I’d be willing to forgive him, but the chances of him making such a change seemed low. So, I guess we all move on.

Same! I think people are so used to the "normal" behavior on forums where people just bash and rip each other to shreds all the time on every post.

We are one of the few "weird" forums where we just act like adult humans, even when we absolutely don't agree on something. Even some of the threads where people are disagreeing, it's a discussion, not a reason to get personal.

It's a forum about 30 year old trucks, it's not that deep haha.

I hope he sees no one here wishes him ill and we all know he's a retired Ford engineer in hiding heehee

By the way. where has he been? I haven't seen his doom and gloom on here for a while.
Back to building bro-rollers maybe?

I dont really care if people come across rude online ( I am sure I sound rude sometimes because of my poor typing, english skills, or just too lazy to type out a gentler response).......
, but the arrogance that is assumed by lack of a response to a question or counter thought about a post, and over and over......

Also, coming right out of the gate with, "I have (so many years) of experience (doing whatever it is I have done)" and then not really offer anything other than criticism, makes said experience questionable.

Went and picked it up. It’s been rebuilt, and through a strange turn of events I bought it for way too cheap. It’s a 2WD unit, but these are easy to convert to 4WD, as the tail housing isn’t the main housing, and the tailshaft comes out from that end, unlike an E4OD. The 4WD parts are in the mail, on the way. Now I need to get ahold of CAconversions and see what they can get me to make this work with an IDI. @Noiseydiesel answered a few questions I had, looking forward to making some progress with this.
