I’ve not heard much of any bad stories about the T19s,
I've had two and both had issues. The one in my first 1985 F250 would pop out of first gear when I decelerated or sometimes even holding a steady throttle. I could hold it in gear and it would work just fine, but that was a PITA. The second one, that came in my Blue Truck had bad gear noise in all but 4th. At a stop, while holding the clutch pedal in, I could feel a pulsing vibration through the pedal. After I pulled it out, I found out the collar that the throw out bearing rides on was missing. Literally broken off. It's a wonder that it worked as well as it did! Those both got swapped out for ZF5s and I was very happy with the results. If I had shorter drives or did a lot of slower driving, like on dirt roads, I wouldn't mind a T19 at all. Since I mostly drive on the highways, I'd rather have the ZF5.

This was all mostly for the truck(s) instead of to them. After work, I drove over to the county courthouse so that I am allowed to drive for another year by the state of Kansas (license plate renewal). This was the longest that it's even taken me. Somebody just HAD to put a personalized antique plate on his blue F250. They aren't very experienced with that kind of thing over there.
Then, earlier, over lunch, I bit the bullet and bought a new pump and injectors from CDD for the Blue Truck. Overall, it was an expensive day.

Hi in the Cascades, Nearly- Redmond,Oregon
, then waved my truck bye as I left town. In Ontario Commiefornia for the week for electric vehicle training :puke:
@Nero ....................What in the world?????
Are we going to have to invent a new OB Forum Sub-Title & start talking about electric/battery powered IDI's?
(BTW, I already been thinking about catching a few "On Sale" Dewalt 18V, 20V, 30V batteries & sticking them up Bessie's BUTTT & trying to improve my MPG)

BTW #2: 2-3 yr ago when I was headed to Tx I stopped over in Idaho at a Truck Stop. A really happy guy was in there yacking & bragging about his solar/battery powered semi-truck & how wonderful it was. Several other guys were hanging round interested & listening.
Devil ALWAYS sits on my left shoulder whispering in my left ear!!!
Sooooo....I decided to walk up to that happy yacking guy & asked him, "So how many miles of 12 ga extension cords you have to carry with you??"
Everybody busted out laughing & giggling! That guy got REALLY PO'ed & stomped out the door!!!!

Drove my truck to Manhattan today, ran errands.

Cane back home and rode my dual sport about 70 miles.

Nice to have a day of relaxation without much on the agenda.

I drove up to NE Kansas for a trailer load of parts for the C700 project. Got my hands on another DT466, Allison 4 spd, and front and rear axles with disc brake setups. All Navistar parts, so they should work well. The drive axle has the correct ratio I want. I will sell the Allison cheap if anyone wants an AT545.

I am inching closer to a completed project. Today I finally finished getting the intake plumbed and clearing the intercooler pipes. I made a bracket that mounts where the CDR valve was. I used it to hold a hose connection in the valve cover and to mount a oil catch can. So I dont forget what it is it has "oil catch can" engraved in the top :)

I promise not to mention 3 wheelers or broncos in this message.......if cupholders come up it will be purely incidental. Knight Rider might come up because we watched or weekly episode of Knight Rider last night "A Good Knights Work" to be exact. And if you watch the episode "Speed Demons" there's a 82-83 Honda Big Red in the background as well as possiblely a 250R...... wait, I just mentioned 3 wheelers......oh well, there's always a bronco in the background somewhere and the bad guys typically drive Chevy Blazers.....so, stay away from Chevy Blazer drivers!

Anyhoo, my hay trailer is down and I only had enough $$$ for 2 rolls of hay, so the dually got a bed of hay!!!

And the dually got a new window sticker for the passenger side, it's retro "Jesus Freak" style.....

Nice. Hay is the thing mine hauls the most. I love when I put 26 bales on my 35year old truck and it barely moves and the guy next to me in his brand new 3500 Chevy is riding the bumb stops on his short bed with 15 bales.
