Not only is the tank rusted but I have worse leaks from the rear tank fuel lines running along the frame. The steel lines are completely rusted and dripping diesel everywhere
I redid all mine with nylon. There's a really good kit from mastercool that makes it super easy and you can make your own connections where you want them

I did by fuel line off Amazon and connectors to replace it . Now if I can just get the new tank mounted back in truck. It is proving impossible to connect the fill line to the tank!!

Almost impossible but you will get it. It is a pain for sure. Hopefully you can walk away from it and try later. Sometimes I find that second try after leaving it goes alot better. Sometimes ya just have to get it done though. Luckily I have an unlimited supply of curse word to spew forth in these situations and the object causing all the problems is addressed by many colorful names

The mounting bolts for my vacuum manifold broke a long time ago. I have had a new one for a while and finally made a bracket to mount it and added a gauge while I was at it.

I didn't realize it would hold vacuum for a while after ya shut it off but now I know

It's a looong story, but after 650 miles in 2 days, I am home...
I went over to the dark side, ( seperate thread later)
But I towed the 93 up to Rubicon and drove it back, empty and on fuel the whole 160 miles .
Oh

Speaking of fuel tanks, I just ordered a 38 gallon. My back tank needs some attention and might as well!

Took the girls out to trails this Saturday and had such a great time with them. I miss us hanging out. On way home my trailer tpms went bonkers so pulled over and had Steve meet me with a little compressor. It's the valve stem but since I rode so long with it super low, I'm just going to replace both those tires.

Photo of Jeep (yes I did it again hawhaw) and truck in background
