I'm pretty sure that the rubber hose is supposed to attach to the water drain on the sediment bowl. If you no longer have a sediment bowl, then it has nothing to attach to. I have no idea why it appears to have a plastic vacuum line going into the rubber hose. If you follow the metal line down, it should end part way down the metal fuel line that goes from the lift pump up to the fuel filter.
Perfect! Thanks

Hopefully I can pressure test it tomorrow and get it back in. Just hope that seam weld went high enough...

I bought a new thermostat too just to be safe since the system is empty anyway.

I like the welds! Looks like a good job, luck with you, that it holds pressure.

He does it for a living so they'd better be good LOL

Thanks! I want it running again, even though I can't register it until the DMV opens back up maybe next month :(

These are RainX brand. I picked them up at Menard's a while back. I decided to replace them because we're going to have a storm come through Sunday morning and I'm going to visit a friend. Of course, the driver's side left a huge streak right in front of my at eye level. Replace them before the rainstorm! For once.

I finally adjusted the wiper location. Previous owner put them fancy rainx ones but they always rest half way up the window and went way too high. Much better now, and I don't have a line of blossoms in front of my face anymore.
