Smoke on the water - Actually in the cab from the Y Pipe

Now I've found it to be impossible to find a stock Y Pipe for my '86 and it seems that ones for a '94 NA are just filling shelves in every parts store and warehouse.

For those that have done it, how well do these bolt up to our older engines? I know some tweaking will need to be done, but it's better than waiting a month of Sundays to eventually get the correct piping.

I have searched the threads BTW. Either I am out of it, but I'm not finding the information I need.

AFAIK the exhaust manifolds are the same on all truck IDI's (vans used a different manifold on one side, so a van Y-pipe won't work)...but, any Y-pipe for a naturally aspirated F-series IDI should work for you
