Sled pulling

Any body ever hooked up to a pulling sled or seen anybody with an idi do it? Be kinda neat to see what these old trucks can do. Be cool if u could beat the new ones and cummins but that probly isn't going to happen. Jus thank of the looks on the cummins owners face if he got beat by an idi haha

These trucks do pull all the time but they do get beaten regularly too...

Really I didn't know that do they do pretty good? All I ever seen was new fords and a lot of cummins

I did 185 feet with mine the third time and 145 the second

Watched Jerry Miller do it some years ago. Unfortunately, he did it with a well worn clutch, and embarrased himself in a haze of blue smoke with a lot of RPM's and not much to show for it.

Did it with my n/a 7.3 f250 and my n/a 6.9 scout, for no turbo they kept up quite well, there's videos on here, search my name and truck pulls.
