i don't remember what the one in that pic was , either way it took a dump on me in a few days new out of the box . this pic was taken today and this one is a .63 garrett

Actually, what kind of steel tubing would be required to weld up a custom set of headers to plumb into the turbo? I mean, that would make more sense to me than trying to weld up a cast iron piece.

In fact, I have NEVER had a welded cast iron part stay together. We had a compression cylinder bracket snap on our square baler (new holland 315 for those that know). We had it welded at a machine shop 3 times and it snapped every time. We finally left it off and got the good old hand crank springs back on. Works just fine.
