This was our original truck, right now in the shop being rebuilt. Driver crashed it into a ditch this past spring.

The boss's brother's ride

Just an ole Pete flattop, with a Cat B-model, and 18 speed. Fresh paint at a million 8, and in the proccess of polishing out the grille shell.

The boss's nephew's ride

Another not so old Pete flattop, Big Cat, 18 speed. Old school paint, and all the goodies inside, including XM, and Sirius, BOTH!

Another cool gadget

Check out the awesome chain covers, that his aunt (boss's sis) made to match his paint job.

FYI She's got an upholstery shop here in Oz, She can make tank caps, fender quilts, chain covers, or almost anything.
She even does a good job fixing holes in coverall legs. (My knee still hurts from that ride.)

One of our newest

This is the last Pete we bought. Its an 04, with the Cat ACERT engine. Twin series turbos. What a mess. Looks like someone dropped a big bowl of spaghetti on the side of the engine.

The ACERT twins

Here's a good look at the twins on the ACERT in #12.

Packrat:You mentioned that the old Flattop 379 had 1,800,000 miles on it? original engine or has it been overhauled? That's the sweetest truck i've seen in a while..especially with those kind of miles.

The 3406 is a pretty good motor, but I'm sure with that kind of miles, I'm sure its been majored at least once, and probably in-framed a couple times.
That is the handy thing about those big engines. If you wear 'em out, you can drop in new jug kits, do a crank job, and have a fresh mill to go.
I wish my small blocks were that easy.LOL
...But then again, I'd have to work pretty hard to dump $10 grand into a smallbock overhaul. :D
