For what it's worth, I concur, Nyteshades is right on the money. '97 and down is what you are restricted to without an adapter plate. 8x6.5 is your lug pattern. After 1997, they went to 8x170mm if I remember correctly.

there are some companies putting inserts into the late model rims to make them regular 8x6.5 pattern. if u are hellbent on newer rims.

good info here. From What I've read they changed the pattern in 99 to 8x170mm.
Owning an 89 myself, I've been scouring craigslist in hopes to find a good deal on some rims and tires which will fit, but I can only find the newer rims w/8x170mm lug pattern!

I'm told the vans did not convert to the metric pattern until much later. If you can find wheels off a van, they may work for you.

I'd like to see these. I can't see how they would work. From what I remember, after the lining up the studs, the studs were 1/2 or 1/4 of the width of the stud off.

Be particularly careful about 1998 (or is it 1997?) wheels, they only have 7 holes.

97 and 98 on the Light Duty F-250 that has the ghalf ton "Triton" body..... Dad has on of these..... well technically 4...
