It has twin fuel tanks and has 35" tyres on American racing wheels . The auto is a 4 speed and the diff is the sterling 10.25". The paint clear is coming off on the bonnet and it has a few marks around the tub as I have used it for work. I replaced the lights blinkers parkers and surrounds when the intercooler was fitted. This truck will tow anything you like . 4x4 all works fine and 12 months rego just paid. May swap for 13t excavator.
interesting....I'd like to see how they left the engine compartment LHD. they didn't move the HVAC or the brake master........
The Aussies can be a bit lax when it comes to some of these older rhd conversions ..... i have seen an early camaro with a bicycle chain used to convert the steering column!!! Theyv'e probably used a torque tube across the firewall for the brakes ...... a lot of European cars such as the Ford Mondeo , holden Astra/vectra do this right from the factory for their rhd versions.
Good eye Calvin.Had to go look at the engine pic again to see the brake booster on the left side. Also saw the ac box on the right side and wonder how that works with brakes, throttle pedal and parking brake.. Plus the exhaust might be warm on the drivers left foot too.I know wifey used to complain about the exhaust heat coming thru the floor when towing heavy across country. Even with plenty of Banks factory wrap on the down pipe.
This is how it's normally done here ...... this one belongs to a customer of mine who moved up to the other end of the island. This is where i got the idea of putting a crew cab body on my 150 ...... it would have been better if i'd had the idea before he moved so i could have got better measurements . https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/us...81.htm?rsqid=e8c3a94320db4e478da7e55ce23db706
