Not positive about the 94, but the 86 could have definately benefited by a longer glow time. Even in the dead of summer I allow the controller to give a full 10 seconds of glow time. After glow is also critical when its that cold, I was waiting for you to pull that switch one more time and sure enough, it clear up
Considering how cold it was, you are more than safe to give 10 seconds in a case like that.

im curious to see how well mine will do up here in stephenville. it still wont get that cold but way colder than back home but back home i could walk outside in about 40-45 degree weather and hit the truck right after the gps cycled once and it would fire instantaneously.
