rearend width on cab/chassis/flatbed vs. dually truck

Do the cab/chassis early 2000's, F450's/550's have a narrower rearend than the regular dually trucks of same years? I'm aware that the F350's cab/chassis have narrower rear axles. Working on a project and I'd like to use an F450/550 rear axle the same width as my cab/chassis F350 axle.

Should be the same or similar.

The C&C diffs are narrower than dually pickups, but the width isn't exactly standard. The wider format may still be an option, so watch for that.

the industry has gone to a standard 34" frame for cab & chassis, and it may be metric measure in today's truck but will be very close

The frame width is more standardized than the axle track width. However, Dodge c&c's kept with a 38" frame at least into the 6.7L era.
