rear crew cab electric windows

Tired of mechanical window regulators on the back doors of your crew cab?
well i couldnt find any of the 95+ OBS rear window regulators at my local yards.
new OBS regulators would have cost 100+ each.
here is what im going to be using for my electric windows.

i dont know if im going to get to them today, if not, i will be doing it on black man day!

kinda torn on which project to work on today. do i work on my rear windows? or do i work on wasting 91 octane?

How are you going to control the rear windows from the driver door? Do you already have the necessary components from a JY?
I have a 1985 F350 dually crew cab 4X4 that has been a LONG delayed Cummins conversion. It has manual windows at all four corners and one of the things I would like to upgrade is to power windows.

the kit comes with switches and cross over wiring.
i will be making a center console and putting 4 switches there, im leaving the front door panels alone.
maybe put another switch in each door i do.
my fronts are already electric.
i may sell the regulators out of my spare doors.

Here is how i left the door when i tried to make a front window regulator motor fit the stock rear mechanical regulator

some of you may remember me asking for the window channel and seals.
well, the only kit i could find was for the front doors only. but i was able to use the window channel.
if anyone finds rear door window seals, please let me know!

gotta pull the stock channel off, the kit comes with clamps, and a rubber boot to clamp the glass to the regulator

after getting the window in the track, and making sure thats all adjusted, its time to install the regulator
and adjust where you want to mount it.

the kit came with a series of spacers, but i ended up going to the store and buying a 6mm x 1.00 picth 1" and 2" long.
1-1/2" spacer and 1-1.5" spacer to space the regulator away from the inside of the door.

here it is installed, the window rolls up n down perfectly.

wiring is ran to the inside of the cab, but i will be mounting a master control switch in the center console when i make it. for now ill rig somthing up.
