I’ve been looking to do a electric cruise swap on my 86 f250 for a long time now but I’ve always been held up by not being able to some a working digram that actually tells me what the wires are actually doing for both systems
So if you have access to good diagrams that I haven’t been able to find or have done this beofre that would be amazing

You’re talking about the electric servo cruise system from the 92+ trucks? I’ve heard of it being done to the 87-91 bricknose, but not a bullnose. I’m sure it could be done, but like you said, you’d need to know which wires. Although, I’m pretty sure that the vacuum cruise systems used in the bulls and bricks are the same… so here, food for thought.

Hardest part I would think would be retro fitting the speed sensor.

Thank you for the forum, yes the 92+ servo. I’m pretty sure the bull and brick cruise is identical aswell
This is what I was looking for so that’s awesome, I’ll get a crack at it when I get some time, need to figure out steering wheel controls first, my horn hasn’t worked for a long time it just blows the fuse

I imagined the bull and brick speed sensor would be the same output?
Yes, but they are mounted in the rearend. Your earlier truck has a speed sensor back there? I didn't think they did unless you have swapped in a later rearend.

Bulls do not have it in the rear end it is off the trans where the speedo cable goes

I think you will find they did not have one at all those years. The only one they had was one inserted in the speedo cable about half-way, it sort of lives under the brake booster. It was for the cruise control. Even the first fuel injected engines in those trucks did not use a speed sensor for the fuel injection. And no electronic transmissions that needed it those years either.

Best site I have found hands down for diagrams and troubleshooting. Covers all makes and models that I’ve ever had questions on. I’m more than positive it will help you and others that see this post. Jump in there and click around and be amazed at the info it contains. good luck with your cruise setup.

I don't believe that is stock for his truck though. Unless that is what the cruise control sensor evolved into.
Not sure most bulls are what yall are talking about but mine is this at and the cruise did work at one time,
