Does anyone on this site currently have one. What do you guys think about them.

I'm thinking about getting one and running that through a 4 speed with a tcase and gearvendors in my f350 project.

I may run larger Tires and superduty axles with 4.88 gears.

With my gv and running a set of 3.55 I have a final gear ratio of 1.96 when I'm in double overdrive..... If you install a ranger od and the gv I feel you will not be able to use all the od gear possibilitys. You sure will have plenty of gear choices...:sly

With. I figure double over will be nice when empty. I like the 4 speed more than my 5 speed. The gears seem to be split a lot better.

Had a Ranger OD in my '77 Land Cruiser behind a Chevy 350. Ran it for 30K miles with no issues other than some leaking between the Ranger and the transmission. Reglued that and it worked fine. I'd buy one again...

Billy you might not have been here when Zigg was an active member but his old truck had a Ranger III in front of a T19. He liked it, got pretty decent fuel economy. You should be in David85 territory with cruising RPMs even in you want 4.10s with a GV or DNE AND a Ranger.

I've got the Gearvendors already and a dne2 unit to play with
Just need to find a cheap ranger box lol.

Right now I really don't have a problem with my XML military tires and 4.10s. It still pulls in 5th at 65. But I plan to run 37s instead of 38.5s and most tires don't weigh over 120lbs lol.

I may not use yge Gearvendors but it would be neat to have
