The seporator arrived in the mail so now I'm thinking where do I want to mount it
I really want it on the frame rail but haven't test fitted it yet
other option is next to the factory unit don't really want it there.
Any suggestions? I want it to be a clean set up
has anyone mounted one on the frame rail?

I put a Vormax head on my old '84. Mounted on the driver side frame rail under the cab, it was very easy to service but so tall the water drain was visibly poking out. Would be great for a smaller head.
Found a blurry old pic that may or may not help:

e: I was able to use existing holes, too. Lots of mysterious unused holes under that truck, don't know if others have them too. Ford's attempt at weight reduction maybe?
