Buddy of mine just bought an 03 CC 7.3 4x4. It has a small toggle switch under the steering column and it seems to have 3 positions. "stock, tow, and haul ass" anyone have any idea of what this switch is?

ATS was big into a 3 position chip.

Would not be Superchip or Hypermax...they have only a single or 2 position.

Pull the PCM and look at the chip.

It could be 20 different brands of a chip. Here is how to find out. Unhook the batteries. On the fire wall under the brake master cyl there will be a electrical harness with a 8 or 10 mm bolt in it. (I forget the size). Take that bolt out and unplug the harness. Go in the truck behind the parking brake and locate the black box. There are 2 or three small bolts holding it to the truck. Remove the box and pull the chip out of it. MAKE SURE THE KEY IS OUT OF THE IGNITION IF BATTS ARE NOT UNHHOOKED. The chip should have a vendor name or writing on it telling the programs. If you can take a pic of it and We can tell you.
