Yep could hit 1000F running empty up a fair grade with the go pedal mashed into the floor board.... Before I turned up the pump that is.
That pyro will definitly wake ya up as to what these motors are up to.

An NA engine with a stock pump will hit 1100 easy, and that's without any tweaking. YOU SHOULD NOT TOUCH YOUR PUMP IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PYRO.

I agree with Mel and others, my 6.9 BT (before turbo) and stock pump setting would go past 1100 on a hard pull. Now with the Hypermax turbo and the pump up 2 1/2 flats I get 12 psi boost and cannot get the EGT past 1050.

Yeah, I hit 2300 degrees when I really get on mine, so you should be fine!
