my woman is so damn amazing!
she bought me a 1941 ford pick up!
compared to others ive seen, this one is a GEM!
some rust issues, but nothing i cant tackle.
i have to purchase some front end parts before i even start on this thing.
i need atleast rotors.

i will be running a Scotts Speed front IFS
rack and pinion
custom frame
versi 9" diff
unsure of the rear suspension i want to run, time will tell
7.3 IDI, and a ZF5
2wd

so here it is, my dream truck!

Nice. I bet you could sell those tires on Craigslist. "Used once, low miles."

front disc brake kit ordered.

now i need to make a decision on the rear suspension set up.

truck arms,
or
triangulated 4 link
i have rear coil overs.
need to find some fronts, when i get the frame done and the ride height i want.

time to work a bit, and then make a sketch for a frame!

as many as i can, LOL
im honestly actively buying parts for 4 trucks LOL
the 87, the 2001, the MANchero, and now the 41
its a medic... i mean mental condition!
not to mention ill be slapping my boat together here pretty soon!

OCD like a ****!

this has been my life dream truck.
honestly the 1 truck that grabs me by the soul!
i am gonna slap out a frame, then do my SD build
in the meanwhile, tinkering with my MANchero.
the 41 does not roll, and in my yard thats no bueno!
all vehicles must roll!

decided to price grille's for the 41 today, yea thats goinna have to wait for a while
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1940-Ford-S...ash=item5414852e48:g:a9AAAOSwiCRUbMCT&vxp=mtr

with that purchase, it will double what i have into it, but its still a 2500 dollar truck!
think i made the decision to sell the military!
but i think i should do some frame work on it first.
its a cool project, but do i really need it?
i should take it up to my parents and leave it for another day,
i dont know... too many vehicles here now

Put the fender and the hood back on, just so it looks like a truck again

Brakes came in today.
Don't know if these rims are gonna be the ones I use or not,
But the track width is spot on!

Cool, not sure about those rims for that bodystyle...... maybe a nice powder-coated accenting color steelie........ :peelout

I see you have a helper...... looks like he is having a good time........ are they both motorheads, or just the one?
