p/s cooler w/hydroboost con.?

:confused: can i add a power steering cooler when doing hydroboost conversion and do they make filters for p/s fluid? tia

They make filters for power steering fluid. I have one on my hydroboost-converted '85. Someone else might help you on the cooling question.

Please post some pics or info on how you did it. Was this and add on the hydrobooster article you wrote?

Do you guys know where to get a rebuild kit for a hydrobooster?

yes youcan run a cooler on it.my superduty has one from the factory,if thats what you wanna call it.its just a loooooong line thats bent to go on front of the crossmember under the engine and around a few times than back to the pump

My 93 has that long line lopped around the crossmember. I was thinking about a p/s cooler myself, because my fluid smells burnt, and I found the loop when I was looking at all the plumbing for it. Doesn't seem like it would be all that effective. Seems like you could tap into the line with a smallish tran's cooler @ the cross member and get some good cooling action that way.
