Thank the Lord for electric fans....I did the water pump on a 5.7 HEMI this week, no fan or fan clutch to worry about. Just used a BFH and a breaker bar to break loose some of the stubborn water pump bolts.

@OOG: That's mighty big of you helpin someone out. It's hard to find a mechanic that truly gives a s*** about his customers.

Bumpity. Found a plumbing wrench that I did some ultra-precise fine tuning of the width to 1.875 (+/- .500) with a grinder, file & cut-off wheels. Going to give it a shot tomorrow. I'll post pics of the tool if you guys want to see it (well, and if it works I guess).
