Haha. I'm just surprised the first response is in favor of the idea. In searching for them, I found that many people despise the idea of getting rid of the wings.

well im not your typical truck owner either..lol
but 750 bucks.... i think ill fix my wing windows.
not to mention i just bought new leaf springs and a rear disc conversion kit

the only value to the wing window IMO is that it gives theives something smaller and cheaper to replace to break into

It doesn't take much to break in through the vent window Christmas this year that's what happens to me.

the only issue i see with thaqt kit is that the stock regulators are designed for the 3/4 window.
the added stress on the channels and rollers will kill the electric motor.
if it does not come with new regulators, i dont think ill be getting them.
but believe me, ill be calling them at 9 am

Definitely a way to get the vent windows to seal. Spent the $40 to find the aftermarket vent seals leave visible gaps and the 33 year old originals still seal better. the aftermarket seals do a good job of taking up shelf space, hard to throw out brand new parts. Even if one could find OEM I wonder how sitting on a shelf for 30 some years has treated them, besides the fact you would probably spend $180 on two seals, plus rebuilding the vent latches. I have probably spent a couple hundred repairing the vent windows with new and used parts and still have always thought to my self if how to eliminate the vent window. Best I have found for sealing vent windows is 3m electrical tape around the edges of the vent window, take some time and its not easily noticeable.
And lets not forget the 35 cents under the wing window latch.

no regulators, you use your existing reg.
longer glass channel, seals and scraper.

kit is made for the 76-8X GMC that you need to trip.

IMO not something i want.

if it was a "deluxe" kit that came with new regulators n such, id be down.

but the fact that im modifying a kit from something else, ill pass.

looks like ill be fixing my wing window.

Wow. Don't think I want to shell out $700+ for something that is not plug n play. But I sure would like a one-piece window.

While yes, bad seals are noisy and annoying, I do prefer the wing window for the ac capabilities in the summer [emoji14] and being able to crack a window without crap flying in
