Recently my oil pressure gauge started jumping around high then back down. So I replaced my pressure sensor but got the same result back and forth as I drive around. I have heard that our pressure gauge is not to be trusted to begin with. Maybe I need a after market gauge. Wiring issue any one got suggestions.

Check the grey connector that gauges and glow plug wires go through. It has given me lots of trouble. I finally cut it out and used good butt connectors.

I use a mechanical. If you don’t have a turbo you can still pull of one of the 1/8npt ports. Mine I just teed into the turbo feed port

Had the same issue with my 93 turbo. Ended up putting in a manual on the 1/8 not port. It's on the drivers side just behind the block if I recall correctly. A good guy from here in Indiana (Travis) helped me with that problem. Great guy with a bunch of knowledge.. hope this helps ya.. jim
