Andy, Im leaving on Friday and planning on getting there Sat. Hope to make it to Ohio late Friday afternoon. maybe we can hook up, or I'll just watch you pass me and we'll meet at the campground!!! lol

i was thinking the other day how much interest and talk this rally post has garnered already. wasnt it about 20 pages already BEFORE the first of the year?? thats some impressive stuff right there.

If all goes as planned, I am going to be leaving late Friday..........around midnight
Sounds crazy but I am planning to get 8hrs sleep before I head out and then hopefully the kids will be sleeping for the first 6-8hrs of the journey.

Maybe a 10pm departure on 6hrs of sleep, we will see. Any way you cut it, there will be a convoy of sorts headed west, northwest.

Forgot to tell ya goose, we might be earlier leaving. But still Friday afternoon maybe.
What's the situation for late comers been like in years past? I plan to have my truck done or at least street-able by then, by it's going to depend on how long turnaround is on the Moose pump and injectors, those are the only major parts I'm still waiting on. Do I need to let someone know in advance to pop in at the last minute, and/or what is the likelihood of any sites still being open, or even nearby campgrounds? It's probably 4 or 5 hours drive, so even if I can't stay I might be able to make a day trip of it...

Ron will correct me if I'm mistaken, but all of the RV sites are full, but there may be some tent sites left. Only way to know for sure is to call the campground and see if they have a tent site available.
If they don't, you can day trip it for sure. Just let Ron know when you plan on coming by.

I have been a late comer before and have been lucky getting in, I would recommend getting in asap or getting on a waiting list. My late signups have caused me to be separated from the group. It can take away from some of the neighbourly fun when you are a 5 min walk away. It sounds like this campground is much smaller than years past though.

MAN I am looking forward to meeting you guys and seeing what others have for rigs. I will make several trips down since I am so close. I know my dad, my one boss, and I will be there. I have a feeling I will be spending more time down there than I planned. Looks like it should be a great time. Thanks already for the behind the scenes workers. I will get with you DSL to get you my plans for attendance and a phone number so I don't get left behind.

Heath couldn't put it any better. Being a smaller campground has given us an advantage of having te majority of it to ourselves but still share it with others. Day visitors are unlimited attendance wise but unfortunately all of te RV sites have been filled. Tent site still may have a few left but haven't had a chance to check availability. It's been a crazy week here and haven't been able to get in enough time to work extra curricular activities.

It's amazing what a rally will do. My first rally was at Russ' in Lisbon OH. That's a 5 hr drive for me to find out that Liddledoggie lives 45 minutes away from me.
