OBS lug or hub centric

Im sure this has been asked before but i couldnt find a definite answer with the search feature.

On the OBS trucks(SRW) are the Factory wheels hub or lug centric?

In a way both, the factory rims are hub centric. But they also use tapered lug nuts which kind of makes them lug centric.

okay thats what i needed to know i was about to order some factory steel wheels and some 255/85 tires but if they were factory lug centric i would just get some 17x8 steel wheels and a more normal sized tire.

Factory steel rims are definitely hub centric. I have some other aftermarket rims (unk brand) that are lug centric.

I really doubt it would make much difference what you decided to use. Just a couple lugs are strong enough to support the weight each tire would see...
