No communication from data port ??

Scanner hooked up to the port but nothing . It's dead . Fuse to check ? Eyeballed all the fuses and they look fine . 93 f350 7.3 idi 4x4 e40d

Have you tried cleaning the terminals inside the connector?

All that scanner port will do is give you trans codes at best. If memory serves, the large port goes to the scanner and a power cable to the small port for the Snap-On Brick. Your antique truck does not have a PCM for engine data. Since you are after wiring diagrams, you might try alldatadiy.com and a few bucks will get you your diagram to troubleshoot.
