I might be getting an old box truck with an IDI. I used to own and work on 1980s VW 1.6 Diesels for many years, with look to be similar in design to the IDI. I'm just curious how available good quality parts are today, VS 20+ years ago. How hard is it to reseal the Stanadyne pumps? Do they need to be rebushed and reamed like the Bosch VE pumps do?
