Yep, I run WVO and was an "expert" on another vehicle before I bought my IDI, but I would not even consider it before running through a least a couple of oil changes to
"recommission" the van. There will be issues (you have come to the right place to get help to fix them) that you may never be able to resolve easily if you throw the WVO variable at an engine whose performance and idiosyncrasies are not known to you.
I'm glad to hear some voices of reason. I've been known to jump in the deep end without thinking in the past, so I take take this opportunity to do it right the first time. Perhaps WVO will be an option down the road, but for now it's all about tune up, and diagnosis to ensure a successful summer tour (Idaho, Colorado, Montana).

I do intend on using Biodiesel. Anyone know if the seals and hoses are pure rubber? I'll be getting a closer look at the fuel lines and motor throughout the week, but if anyone knows if I'll be needing Viton hoses or seals, please let me know.
Thanks again!

Let me know if you find out, otherwise I will call and find out, I'm curious, they are usually very willing to answer questions over the phone.
