This weekend was my first long pull of my 14k fiver. 400 miles with my new IP. Man this is like having a new truck, power out the butt.
Running down the interstate at 70 miles an hour at 2400 rpm in overdrive and 900 degrees egt, the truck loved it and so did I, big hill comming up, no big deal she just kept on rolling, I did have to blow by two Dodge trucks that were holding me back pulling RV's.
There is one hill in Chattanooga that has always kicked my trucks butt, after running for two hours I hit the hill as always, running shot at 75 mph. Never have I got over this hill any better than 35 mph, and in 3rd or 2nd gear at the top, I rolled over the top this time at 50mph in 4th gear, at half throddle, (egt's at 11,000) I screamed out loud, scared the dog and the old lady, what the heck is wrong, nothing I yelled as I patted the dash board, the old girl is smokin. :Sly
Now all I need is an intercooler so I can use the rest of the go peddle.
So cool.
