New Brake Controller

Went to Camping World near the house today and get a new brake controller installed. The Tekonsha Voyager that came in the truck hasn't every worked, and since it's 95% likely that I'm getting a 5th wheel given to me next week (needs A/C, roof repairs, new tires, and maybe more) I figured it was time to get a new unit. Does anyone have any experience with this unit? Are there any tricks/tips I need to know about dialing it in?

they are awesome controllers....the surge feature is sweet when in the hills etc

I haven't had any experience with the P2. I do have a P3 and love how it works. Tekonsha makes a nice controller.
