I took off the air box from the 7.3 IDI turbo eng. big pain in my butt.

i moved my fuel filter o the side and plumbed i a pipe andair filter on pass side. what can i do with the 1" line coming out of the crank vent on dr side valve cover?

I ran a 1" x 10' long line connected to it to the back of truck but it stinks and smokes.. (maybe cause it so cold out) should i run that back into the turbo like before? wont that moisture screw it up?

I read about the guys with intercoolers using a strainer or catch can, but i don't have a intercooler.

can i just put a filter on the end of the hose or do i need a can ...

is that to OPEN , does it need some back pressure to work properly?

Run it back into the turbo like the factory did it.

ATS box runs it post filter. I don't see why running into the PVC tubing you have as an intake would be any different.
