That tailgate came off of a truck that I used to have.

I could be wrong, but in the picture, I see the white tailgate and also see the color of the rest of the truck. Did you buy the truck from John?

I believe his name was John, he lives over by the lone rock church, got the truck about 2.5 yrs ago

yep, the tailgate came off of a truck that I sold him.

It actually almost got thrown away last fall after I dropped a transmission on it and couldn't get it to stay closed after that
That ol' truck has gotten some nice add ons since John sold it me, took the 250 suspension out and put the solid axle in the front with the 1ton springs and put a new tranny/tcase in and soon to be turbo

Nice, did you get that tach to work? You didnt like the noises the transmission made?

Turned out the tach was dead, I tried a new sensor and that didn't work so I tried a new gauge and it works fine, the noise from the tranny didn't bother me it was the parking where you could go forward to leave or spend 5-10 mins fighting reverse that drove me crazy

Is there anything anyone recommends doing prior to putting the turbo on?
I am going to move the glow plug relay and put a new intake manifold gasket in and put my gauges in before I get to the turbo to try to speed up my install time as it is my daily driver, anything else I should do before it goes on?
