Switching the AC to "MAX AC" no longer shuts out the outside air (this just started to happen) AC works much better when it's recirculating inside cab air AND I added that valve that also shuts-off heater core to even make the AC work better...but now that's also not getting vacuum.
That little vacuum door pod under the hood is OK, I tested it.
I need to know where the black vacuum hose with the white stripe goes through the firewall into the dash.
Is there a vacuum switch behind the "outside air" slide switch on the dash, or is it somewhere else buried in the dash?
Hoping the hose just came off from in the dash someplace, but where is it?
Thanks for any advice, suggestions!

Fixed it (thank goodness)...that white vacuum line was eroded at a hard-bend...cut both-ends and slipped a new piece of vacuum line over both ends with shrinkwrap and it's now working again!
AC is colder again!
I was sweating I was going to have to dig into the dashboard...YIKES!

I have been repairing them on customers trucks and had to cut the tape back to get to good line in the loom.
