I have a 98 12 valve ex-cab with 126,000on it,it is bone stock it still has the original exhaust.My question is what upgrades can i do to help performance,best fuel milage and be a daily driver.I forgot to mention it has a 355 with an auto trans.I have been told it is rare because it has 2nd gen with 4 swinging doors.

Good start, then follow up with a TST #10 or 11 plate, bump up the timing to 15.5-16, kill the dowel pin ( very important), BHAF, and a valve body and tighter converter, you won't believe the difference !!

you could grind the plate yourself, dowel pin $50, BHAF like $100 i think, valve body?, converter like $1000-1500 my 2c
