High gang!
Long time no post! Life has been crazy! new house, new puppy, new shoulder surgery to go with my new hips! Lots of new stuff! No time to work on my motorhead projects… However, We've got a friend who is a skilled carpenter staying with us and he is willing to exchange work on our house for me putting new injectors injectors in the above mentioned vehicle, does anyone have any guidelines, suggestions or links to the Ford 4.2 V-6 gas engine? In a van? What's the preferred brand of injectors? I've not had much luck finding any good info online... Someone else did the diagnosis, allegedly a professional mechanic. So I am just going on Joe's word that that one injector is bad (#5) and considering it's a high mileage rig we thought that it would be a good idea to replace all six while I'm in there. Any idea of what shop labor would be on a similar job? Wish me luck! And again, any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
