need advice for more power on 99 7.3

I am new to Ford Diesels. I own a 03 duramax with and edge/ attitude, 4 inch exhaust and K&N intake. very impressed with the power. My other truck is a 99 Ford 7.3, 2 wheel drive dually stocker, very nice truck, but as always I need more power. What options are available for the Ford. Towing should not exceed 8,000 to 10,000 lbs. will naturally do bigger exhaust and intake. but what type of programmer will suit me best. I like the idea of the gauges on the attitude but don't know if its an option for this year truck. also what other concerns should I keep an eye on when adding power to this truck. trans? exhaust temp limits?
Be easy on me about owning a Duramax also.

It sounds like your heading in the right direction as far as intake and exhaust. I would suggest getting a pyrometer, boost gauge and tranny temp if yours is an auto. Call Tony Wildman for a chip, he does a great job tuning these rigs 405-818-6365.

Gages first, Tony Wildman or DP tuner chip, 4" exhaust, Tymar intake, (I do not like K&N on any turbo diesel). BTS trans, either a GT38, H2e, or Black widdow performance turbo, BDP injectors, Big oil, aftermarket rods. By now you will have a thin wallet.
