Well guys... I'm kinda embarassed to say this but you all were right. The serpentine belt picture I got from Towcat shows the belt going under the vac pulley.... Not over the top like I have it.... Its funny too because it worked fine... Till Travis pointed it out to me... And I had to travel 2100 miles to find this out... Sometimes your the bug.... Sometimes your the windshield.... I guess its time to look over the rest of my truck... I wonder what else I assembled "differantly".:rotflmao At least I can laugh at myself...

Does everything work fine the way you have it?

Care to share the picture? I just picked up the serpentine setup from Darrin...hope to add hydroboost to it as well, but he had it all pulled, so a picture would be good.

The vac pump has a little camshaft in it and will work either way.

The picture is found in the forum search but before I post it I need to see if the belt I have will reach under the vacuum pully too. I have the Nappa belt part number NBH 25-061110. I believe its 111 inches long.

It still worked.:dunno

Well if it's any consolation, I owe ya a thanks and an apology as well.

At the show and shine ya pointed out my turbo boot appearing to be not connected properly.

Well, I found that boot did actually spit itself out after tinkering around on it a couple days later.Whoops!

Mel had a few leftover IC boots and one was longer and worked perfectly.
I now can achieve 10 psi again!;Sweet

For an update... My belt wont fit under the vacuum pump like its supposed to run.... My serpentine system is the newer upgraded type. That means I have the tensioner with the shock absorber on it. My alternater may also have a larger pulley on it too. So... Now its time to figure out which belt fits. Calvin told me I would have problems finding a belt that will fit.. And after finding one to buy several... See... Others feel spares are a good thing too...:sly

Not sure about Napa numbers, but if you can get me a gates number for the belt you have, and how much longer you need, I can tell you the part number...could then cross it to Napa or whatever.
