A 97 will likely be metric thread, nuts, bolts. 97 will have the ops under the intake instead of behind the ds head. 97 has different size main bolts (smaller/weaker). 97 has piston oil squirter and h/o oil pump. All accessories are different. 97 turbo is slightly better
