I am looking for help in getting more turn out of my steering box. A 4 to 6 point turn-around in a cul-de-sac is ridiculous. My truck is a 1979 International S-1900. It appears to have a very standard big truck power steering unit. I just don't know how to adjust the stops in it. There is plenty of clearance for the wheels to turn a lot farther than they do now.

Thanks for any help/advice.

Without looking at one, it's tough to remember. Anyhow...

Look at the spindles, and axle, to see if there are stopbolts that can be adjusted in.
Even if there is, don't screw them in so far that the steering gear IS the stop. If it goes full lock suddenly(curb check), it could damage the gearbox.
