had at least 3 more usefull replys and links including one link I left for this site First they sensored the link out then **** deleted it and several other posts Its counter productive!
I try not to get involved in internal spats with anyone but the site is getting and has been terribly chippy. What the hell is the problem.They don't want people to leave to other sites but they pull crap like this.

Fred, I think it is only going to get worse as the popularity of this and other sites increase. Until they remember that this is the internet, and not a communist dictatorship, the only real strenght any one site has is in supporting all the others. Think about that old movie "Miracle on 34th street". Mr. Macy didn't like the idea of Macy's sending people to other stores, but the customers sure did, and liked Macy's even more for doing it. TDS has become the 1990's version of Apple Computer. Trying to lock everbody into thinking they are the only site worth visiting will eventually spell doom for them. I guess the only reason I still go over there, is because there are a few friends there who haven't seen the light yet, and continue to stay.

Yup I go there for the same reasons.You sure got to watch what you say and whom you say it about ,I used the term ***** in place of cat once a little humor you know ,and had a post altered cause it offened a mod and not the person it was directed at!Chippy.There not going to be happy till all of the guys that were ther from almost the begining are gone I guess.

I see what they have done !
They have the OILBURNERS.NET link sencored automaticly Leave a space between oil and burners and the censorship goes away.

It was off-topic and added absolutely nothing to the thread. I know you
guys have heartburn about things on TDS, but that's no reason to tell
someone else to give up on the site. You said that the things he wanted
were right "on top" on the other site, and you are obviously
knowledgeable, and could add to the list of things he was asking for right
in the post, but instead spent your time on the post to complain. You
could have just as easily added a tidbit of information that was asked
for, but are apparently so wound up in your little feud with Jason that
you are punishing the new guys on TDS. That's not very adult behavior.

The reason that oilburners.net is on the censored list at TDS is because
those who were so upset about things like the "other topics" forum going
away started spamming the forums. If that happened on oilburners.net, the
administration would take similar action.

You also stated in your other posts on the same thread, that you wanted to
use "adult language", but an adult does not need to use profanity or
vulgarity to get his point across. It serves absolutely no purpose, and
wastes keystrokes. It actually sounds more like adolescents trying to
sound like they're "adults".

There are so many complainers in that particular thread that I
contemplated locking it, but that would just further punish the new guys.
There's still some good information among the "Chaff", so I'll just
continue removing the chaff such as your post.

If you have issues with what I'm saying here, please respond directly, and
do not take up space on TDS forums arguing and complaining about things
you cannot change.

Just seems to me that they don't like folks who drive older trucks there. I've had numerous posts deleted. Not offensive, just "off topic". I'm beginning to think they just want to get rid of us. Maybe they have something up their sleeve with Ford, and we IDIers just aren't profitable.

cannot win. This is Jason's website and he makes the rules. Rules you
agreed to abide by when you signed up. If you feel you can no longer live
with those rules, then feel free to leave.

Furthermore, you claim that TDS's administration is ruining the site, when
in fact it is posts such as the one I removed that cause the most trouble.
Posts made just for the sake of stirring things up will be removed and no
further email will be sent, as you already know the reason why they will
have been deleted.

Furthermore, it was in poor taste to post Kevin's email directed to you,
