The Moosestang is about to undergo another metamorphisis. I will be pulling the 1984 6.9 that uses 2 quarts of oil every 500 miles, and the built C6 attached to it, and I will be dropping in a 1993 7.3 IDI NA with a ZF-5 mounted to it. However, one of the members here was supposed to send me some bolts, and I just don't seem to be getting them. Does anybody have some ZF DMF flywheel bolts they can spare? I'm looking for crank and presure plate bolts. I also need one of the 4 long bell housing bolts that hold the trans to the engine if anybody has a spare. The 7.3 I bought from Jerry Miller, and neither of us knows the history, but he said it runs good. Keeping my fingers crossed.

As for having a spare fresh engine would be nice but theres no way I would put all that money into a rebuild to just let it sit for who knows how long. We had a motor we pulled out of my fatherin laws antique pulling tractor and replaced with a more potent one. Well the old motor sat in his climate controlled garage for just 2 years and when we put it in the next tractor it was almost a lost cause. It had 3 stuck valves and was starting to stick in the cylinders and we ended up having to have new valve seats installed too
Maybe get the parts and have the machining done but wait to do the assembly till needed that way you can be sure all parts are good
