MERCEDES ENGINES

I don't hardly belong on this section of Oil Burners, but I'll fumble my way through this. My brother is getting into the trucking business and is looking at a Western Star rig with a Mercedes NBE 4000 engine running 370HP. I've had zero experience with this engine, just don't want my bro to get burned with a poor engine in his first rig. If anyone has any experience with this please respond good or bad.

In my experience, the big benz's like to slip head gaskets.
