Massive coolant leak on block above starter

Here is what happened to me,
Truck had same symptoms of not starting after i drove and parked it... never had any coolant and oul leaks so i thought all was fine. I could pour a bottle of drinking water on the IP and it would start up. Then yesterday i checked the oil... that was right on full but when i checked coolant it was 2 jugs low ! No kidding ... i was shocked about where did it go ?
Never had any white smoke like anything was cracked block or heads. Drive from the valley up to the mountains whete i live and it never got the needle up but ran fine. So long story short if your engine got hot i think your IPvapirlocks and wont start
