Found a machine shop(right under my nose!Etowah Auto Parts) here in Gadsden that can bore and sleeve a block for $101 a hole(50 for machining,51 for sleeve). He has done it for local dealership for warr. work.Soon as I get mine done and put a few miles on the mill I'll give a good or bad report.I did get a good feeling since I saw some 6.9/7.3 tools on the shelf(fan nut wrench set).

I'm real interested on how this turns out. I'm only about 80-90 miles north.

I want to build a new engine from a sleeved block with slightly less comp, turbo pistons/rods, and head studs. I want a very durable engine that can produce ~275-300 HP, as close to 600 ft-lbs TQ at the flywheel and run for 400K without worrying.
