just realized those are brass lines with compression fittings... cant be brake.

but in theroy, couldnt you spring load it to where you hit the brakes, the solenoid will close the butterfly,
and when you let off the brakes, itll open up again?

Most of the ones I have seen are either air or vacuum actuated. There are possiblities I suppose. Honestly, having driven a couple of the newer trucks with exhaust brakes, I'd not want it tied to the brake pedal. We should take it off line or start a new thread somewhere to muddy this one up anymore if you want to discuss it.

Bit busy today...managed get steam cleaning to top side of engine done...now I can look at the engine and touch it without becoming sooty black and greasy. What a difference this makes.

I may atte.pt to adapt one of my factory Turbo gp harnesses to this beast as it looks like it would be a good fit.

With it cleaned and blown off I now can comp test and determine state of engines health....sorta...LOL.

Might pull valve covers if my comp ok and inspect for soot around valves...ya I know what to look for now from experience.

Well I will get some pics as she sits **** n span clean...wow the super clean in purple bottle soaking and then a good steaming gives amazing results...see below

Well this took some effort however every single gp came out...they do not appear to be bad however a couple showed dead via test light test. These are Nottolites...as I call em and Beru will be going in...

I am feeling like ***** so will comp test tomorrow and see about a couple potential tech 101 threads.
