LQQKn at 88 F250 ex cab 4x

Went looked at 88 F250 4x today 7.3 C6 3.55 Posi.

Good
body actually pretty damn good...lil rust box good cab good. Has CTS turbo setup...mad 4 to 5 lbs boost...on short drive. Has matched elcheapo batteries...engine dirty but cleaner n most I see

Fuggylooloo wiring for gp and same to start...some weird pull switch setup key only turns unit off...

Has what appears to be exhaust brake...no gear vendors though.

800 bucks...

Blue with blue int...didnt check ac...hqve exact same truck local with seized engine n zf 5sp free for parts local to me.

Need come up with cash qsap good truck for price seejng Ive a stable of parts


Oh and back seat...has lift kit just like brown bruin cab...*****

All arranged for Thursday pickup. Fellow said front wheel bearing bad...pulled off the rotors/hubs of my 92 reg cab and plan swap em on...rotors good shape and pads like new...should be quick swap n on road!

Hope works ou ok plan for grease job while in air doing wb.

Should be good ride home I hope.

Eugene is following me back.

Will pick up a engine to hyd pump adapter for jarrette to finisj it off too. May need new love joy coupler too. Will take old one for comparison.

Was getting 4lbs boost lol...better n none...
needs glowplugs setup correctly and timed and the usual tlc but first I gotta name it....thinking Blue Marlin...

Tomorrow its getting one **** of a bath and steam clean fer sure!!!

Once cleaned and able to work on it I will get some more vids n Tech 101s going...

Has a CTS Thruster II turbo so must look for info...and some bizzare exhast brake...no OD but C6 seems ok...

Aren't you 2wd? Wouldn't work for ya. Nothing wrong with a C6 though, if you gots to have a slushbox you might as well have the best.

Me too, I've made the mistake of trying the E4DOA route, I'll always regret that. Never again.
