Wow. My fresh rebuild had more blowby than the black one. Hopefully the rings will seat.

Is it worth a straight engine swap or is the black truck in reasonable shape? You said you want auto trans back though.

Oddly nuff....there is a reman w 8cyl sleeved new just about everything on stamd in shop....wont pull engine from black one...rather have it back up runner....JIC :fan: whille runnin blue one. If I can sorce a harness for trans for black truck it instantly becomes daily driver. Blue is leaking n burning so much oil its now on used oil diet...:( just keep swapping filters :frustrate

Really black was a mildly used farm truck whom I know previous owner....before fella i bought it from..was sold for 1500 i paolid 500...but quite bit of service.

It gets fresh oil amd filters Sunday or Monday :Thumbs Up

Hope ca locate harness asap

Oh ya cube van fuel tank coming soon too so 30 plus gallon rear:Thumbs Up

My fresh rebuild had some blow-by when it first started up. Now, 10,000 miles later, nothing.

Ya rebuildz take a bit to seat rings so work it and it should clear up blow by....do NOT break in on synthetic oil.....JMHO....

I grabbed my two other 92 E4OD harnesses today 1 2wd 1 4wd both a round and rectangular chassis plug arrangement under MC both have BLACK NSS mine in the 91 is grey.

Pondering butchering 3 harnesses and swapping over to BLACK NSS from grey....to utilize better harness and hopefull get this beast working well.

Thoughts n ideas on this plan please????

Thanks for looking.
