on my old 94 i ran a diamond eye kit for a 97 truck. cat back. made an adapter pipe to fit the goofy sized sidwinder downpipe to the 4 inch diamond eye. i ran a dual output system, came out each side under the tail lights. no muffler. sounded perfect.

Thanks Corey! I don't have much of a shop here no less welding equipment, so fabrication is difficult. I wish that someone who's done the banks DP/Diamond eye turbo back hack would chime in with some intel...

Diamond Eye kits have pieces that slip together. I welded all of the joints from DP back and then had it powdercoated. Only clamp on mine is located at the joint between DP and tail pipe (muffler delete). It's not loud unless you act like a teenager, and I'm a few years beyond that.......

North of fifty years myself. I'm looking for as much sound reduction as possible w/o hurting performance or raising the EGT's, so I think a low restriction muffler is in the cards. For the exhaust, I do plan on bringing to someone get it welded.
