I got an almost complete banks gen 2 sidewinder kit for my 6.9. The only piece I’m missing is the waste gate actuator.

I asked some one selling another kit for a picture of the part number on the actuator and got this: looks like 85-1811 T04471 to me.

Now the hard part I’m stuck on Is figuring out how to order the part from Mitsubishi. I can not find an email on the website and have tried emailing what I could find but they were the wrong division and didn’t provide me with the email I was looking for.

Can anyone that has ordered TURBO parts through Mitsubishi help me figure it out.

I did call banks and best they can do is sell me a whole new turbo.

I know this kit sucks because parts are very difficult to find but I’m hoping someone has figured out a way to order the Mitsubishi parts.

I have mine maxed out to the point it never opens. Unless you’re really ******* it the banks turbo won’t make that much anyway. I tow 10.5k lbs all the time up very teen grades and I’ve only hit about 12psi. But I do drive slow so maybe that’s it. Just watch the gauges and back off when needed. It strange banks won’t sell just that part. I live near banks and walk in all the time needing parts for customers and walk out with parts all the time for these set ups.

The 2nd gen Sidewinder should make 12-13PSI when the truck is empty if everything is working correctly. That's with the turbo stock, not modded in any way.

I’ll have to give them another call and see again then. Good to know wiring it shut is an option that way I can install it and worry about the actuator later

You’ve probably solved this by now but if banks won’t sell it, just find an aftermarket watergate actuator. You can probably even find a bracket in the aftermarket to mount it to the turbo. The turbo frame size is what dictates the accessories used and that turbo frame was widely used for other applications. That part number you posted has T04 as the first part which is a very common turbo size.

I see you're in west sac. Diamond diesel is where I would go for turbo, injection pumps, and injectors. You can try them.
